LIPPED BZP WEDGE ANCHORS
Greenaway offers alternative drop-in wedge anchors, which allow a drill hole to be made to a depth that does not need to be totally accurate. Our lipped wedge anchor has a flanged rim which prevents it from sitting deeper into the pre-drilled hole as the lip sits flush with the surface. These are available in M10 size.
The principle is the same as the non-lipped version. The internal expanding plug, when used with a setting tool, causes the outer casing to embed into the walls of the pre-drilled hole to create a secure fixing.
Application. Wedge anchors are used to create a fixing point for threaded rod, in order to support pipe clamps and brackets.
Material. They are made from steel and have a bright zinc-plated finish.
