Emma Greenaway
I’m Emma Greenaway, chairman and director of M. Greenaway & Son Ltd, a company which my grandfather established back in the 1950’s of which I’m very proud. My father took over the business at the early age of 17 and made it what it is today. I’m very lucky to have a great team behind me, all of whom I respect so much. I graduated from Leeds University (a long time ago!) with a BA Hons degree in International Business Management and French and previously worked in a very successful shipping company looking after our main export clients before joining Greenaway’s at the age of 26.
During my spare time I love playing tennis, spending time with my wonderful friends and my beloved black cat, Mr Thomas Shelby (and yes, he is a gangster). Pipe clips aside, I adore fashion, and my mantra is “every day is a catwalk”. I love listening to music and having a good dance, embracing life and all its unexpected twists and turns.
You only get one, right??
Mark Halford
Hi, I’m Mark Halford, I’m Managing Director here at Greenaways.
My role is to oversee the general day-to-day running of the business, as well as visiting our suppliers in the far east as I originate from a manufacturing and purchasing background.
I like to play golf when I can and go on long walks with my dog. I also run 2 or 3 times a week and completed the London Marathon in 2018. I also enjoy watching my grandsons play football for their local teams.
I took refereeing up again in January this year, and although I no longer officiate at that level, I used to referee the semi-professional side of the game too.
Paul Griffin
I’m Paul, I joined M Greenaway & Son Limited in October 2015 as accounts manager. My duties included all aspects of the purchase and sales ledger, banking, payroll, preparing management accounts along with the company’s financial statements.
In October 2021 I was appointed to the board of directors and continued to oversee all financial aspects of the company.
Most of my spare time is taken up with my son’s involvement in football. He plays in a both Saturday and Sunday leagues and trains three times per week. I also enjoy exercising and socialising.
Gregg Edwards
I’m Gregg and I’m Sales Director here at Greenaways. It’s my responsibility to ensure that we bring in good, profitable business to the company. My career started in the pipes, valves and fittings trade in 1986, initially working in purchasing but ultimately moving into a field sales role here at Greenaways whom I joined in 2001.
I have a Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply management qualification to my name and enjoy the differing day to day challenges that the current role brings.
I’ve always been into my sports, enjoying tennis, football and cricket and given that I spent my teenage years growing up in the 80’s I am still a keen listener of this genre of music, much to the displeasure of my wife and daughter at home!
Growing up for me was also all about family holidays spent by the seaside. Favourite places Tenby and Woolacombe are both still high up on the list of weekends away when it comes to the perfect idea of relaxation.
Michelle Taylor
Hi, I’m Michelle Taylor, I am the Sales Office Manager at M Greenaway & Son Ltd.
I joined the company in April 2001. I oversee the day to day running of the Sales office, dealing with customer orders, deliveries, prices and general queries and liaise closely with both despatch and goods inwards departments.
We work well together as a team in the office and also enjoy our social gatherings outside of work (which may include the odd glass of wine or two!)
I live in Bloxwich near Walsall with my husband Darren and my 10year old Shih Tzu dog, Dolly.
We enjoy weekends with family and friends, eating and drinking in Birmingham especially the flight club, yet whilst it’s good fun, I have to say darts is not my forte! We also enjoy our weekends away and holidays abroad, Greece being one of our favourites with warm welcoming people and fantastic cuisine.
Elaine Hunt
My name is Elaine Hunt, I am the Credit Controller and Sales Office Administrator here at Greenaways, where I have worked for 15 years.
I have been married to Richard since 1995 and we have a daughter Danielle. We also have a King Charles Cavalier called Coco.
My interests outside of work are holidays and socialising, all of which are done with my husband, family and friends. My favourite holiday destination is the Maldives.
I enjoy reading but tend to save that hobby for whilst I am lying by the pool or on the beach!
I also enjoy going to concerts and have a varied list of bands that I have seen over the years, including Simple Minds, U2, Morrissey and Ed Sheeran to name but a few.
Mark Hanley
Hi, I’m Mark Hanley, I am the Sales Manager here at Greenaways whom I joined almost twenty years ago.
My journey with the company began in the warehouse, where I learned the ‘ins’ and ‘outs’ of our operations having initially come from outside of the industry. I earned a promotion to Field Sales Representative before being rewarded with the Sales Managers role in 2021.
Away from work, I am passionate about sport, inparticular football and boxing. I especially enjoy spending quality time with my wife and three children, one of whom plays football for our local disability football team.
When I’m not cheering him on, the rest of my family are at the heart of everything I do, and I strive to create lasting memories through shared experiences, whether it's through outdoor activities, family game nights, or simply enjoying each other’s company at home.
Sophie Baggott
Hi I’m Sophie Baggott and am one of the newer starters here at Greenaways. I live locally with my parents, being the youngest of three and also have three dogs!
My role is that of sales administrator, whereby I enter and despatch sales orders, also handling invoices.
My interests outside of work are films, music, plants and travel. I especially like indoor gardening, and sometimes going to the gym.
An interesting fact about myself is that I can bend my thumb backwards to my wrist…. a skill shared with other members of the Greenaways fraternity! I also passed my driving test first time of asking and have completed an apprenticeship in Business Administration.
Steph Weston
I’m Steph and I am the customer service representative. I have been part of the Greenaways team for over seven years.
My favourite aspect of my role here at Greenaways, is being able to build relationships with our customers.
Outside of work I spend most of my weekends practicing film photography or competing in field archery with my partner and family.
I like to spend as much time as possible with my family and friends and I also love going to the cinema and enjoy films of any genre.
I live with my partner, and our two beautiful cocker spaniels, Luna and Daisy. I love animals of all shapes and sizes, and I’d have my own farm if we had the space!
Tracey Devey
My name is Tracey, I live in Bloxwich with my fiancé and we have a son together.
I am a Sales Assistant. My duties include processing and despatching sales orders, invoicing, taking calls and other administrative tasks.
My hobbies and interests include spending time with family, eating out, swimming and clubbercise. I also enjoy holidaying abroad, sampling a cocktail or two and eating chocolate!
An interesting fact? I can balance a teaspoon on the end of my nose whilst juggling on a unicycle! And I can also push my thumb backwards to reach my forearm…
Geof Griffin
I am a linguist by profession, but drifted into accountancy to make a living and qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
I became a partner in a medium sized accounting firm in 1973 and assisted Chris Greenaway with the development of his company back in 1976. Separately in 1980 I was lead on the acquisition team when a British public company bought the largest motor component manufacturer in France.
Although an international career beckoned, my wife and I decided life in the UK was a better bet and in 1982 I formed the firm of Griffin & King with an old school friend. Within three years we were the largest accountancy firm in Walsall. I “retired” in 1999 and since then I have provided consultancy services to various local businesses. My present time at Greenaways will be my swan song.
I still enjoy travelling through France and Spain with no particular destination in mind. Wherever you go in Spain in the summertime, there is usually a fiesta involved!
Andy Davies
I’m Andy, I joined Greenaways in 2024 in a Field Sales role, having over thirty years experience in the sealing and gasket industry. I’ve dedicated my career to understanding the ‘ins’ and ‘outs’ of materials and processes, always aiming to deliver quality and reliability to the customer.
I’m not one to talk much about myself, but I take immense pride in the experience I’ve built up over many years.
Outside of work, I’m a big fan of Volvos and have clocked over half a million miles in them so far. I love the open road, whether on my motorbike or out walking my fox-red Labrador, Lucy. When I’m not on the move, you’ll probably find me in North Wales in my caravan unwinding with a good pint of cider and the dog!
Francesca Fellows
I’m Francesca and I’m the newest recruit here at Greenaways, starting in November 2024. I’m really keen to get into the role of customer service assistant and learn the ropes.
Prior to joining I worked in a variety of hospitality jobs including conference and events at Walsall Football Club (Up the Saddlers!!!).
I have a degree in gender history from the University of Glasgow, with a specific focus on representations of masculinity in second world war propaganda films.
In my spare time I’m an avid reader and love nothing more than getting engrossed in a good book with a nice cup of coffee. I also enjoy going out with my friends and family for a cocktail or two, my favourite one being a ‘Hugo’ spritz.
Pete Arnold

I have been working in warehousing for nearly 30 years, I hold multiple FLT licenses, an N.V.Q in material handling and warehousing, and first aid accreditation.
