SLOTTED CHANNEL Light Gauge – 1.5mm thickness, in Pre-Galv finish.
Our Pre-Galvanised (Pre-Galv.) Light Gauge Slotted Channel Lengths and channel brackets are manufactured in accordance with BS6946:1988. The whole range is primarily designed and manufactured to support and fix together channel lengths (Strut) in a metal framework situation. All Channel lengths are manufactured in accordance with BS6946:1988.
Dimensions – We supply slotted channel in the following sizes: 41×21, 41×41 and 41×82. We provide BS6946:1988 Standard Guage with a 2.5mm Thickness, which has slot sizes of 28 x 14mm. Light gauge channel lengths with a 1.5mm thickness are available and have slot dimensions of 28 x 11mm. All channel is available in 3m and 6m lengths. Unistrut compatible.
Slotted Channel Material: Channel Brackets & Lengths are predominantly made from mild steel material, in 6mm thick profile. Channel lengths are manufactured from Pre Galvanised Steel to BS EN 10346: 2015 and are available in standard gauge profile of 2.5mm thickness and also Light gauge profile of 1.5mm thickness and we have either a Plain or Slotted option.
Finishes: Channel lengths are available with a Pre Galvanised finish. Channel lengths are available in a Pre Galvanised finish. Both finishes are readily available from stock. Other finishes are available to order.
Connections and Fixing Methods: The range of Channel accessories and bracketry are predominantly pre-drilled with 14mm fixing holes allowing the use of bolts and threaded rods to facilitate fixings.
