The 1^st May 2006 in Havana – I failed to be present at Fidel Castro’s final speech to the faithful.  A rerun would be good.

I was once interviewed on French television about the Brittany Ferries strike.

Q. Name one thing your wife or partner does that irritates you?
She won’t spend any money!!!

Q. Name that tune!…What song would it be at this Friday nights local Karaoke competition?
It would be Meatloaf’s ‘Bat out of Hell’.

Q. (Don’t tell the missus!!!)… But who would you most like to wake up with the next morning after winning the competition?
Tens of thousands of possibilities and it would insult all the failures to name a favourite.  Scarlett Johansson if you’re pressing…
